The COPHIT computational engine then allows you to follow the progress of the drug through to the lungs and into the systemic circulation.

However, the simulation process does not stop there. Using pharmacokinetic models, you can take the drug deposition profile to predict the bloodstream concentration of inhaled drugs, and how this changes over time. Explore the pharmacokinetics section by moving the mouse over the lungs.
